Tips for selecting cat litter

Many brands of cat litter come in small packages. Choose a few well-known brands of cat litter to give your cat a try one by one, see which one it likes, and then confirm it. When selecting, it is not blindly random. Several points should be noted: first, choose cat litter that can solidify and be easily removed. This type of litter is easy to clean and can absorb odors; Secondly, cats prefer odorless cat litter, so it is best not to choose those with a strong aroma. However, owners often prefer scented cat litter, so they do not consider the cat's feelings when choosing. Therefore, cats do not like to use cat litter that they buy back. It is important to remember that cat litter is intended for cats, and the litter they like is the appropriate one. If a cat doesn't like the litter we have chosen for it, it usually shows the following behaviors: scratching the litter tray, standing outside the litter tray or jumping out quickly after entering, and "defecating" directly next to the litter tray. Therefore, when your cat experiences these situations, please replace it with another type of litter. Once confirmed, please do not easily change to another brand.

Usage

Lay a layer of cat litter approximately 1.5 inches thick in a clean litter box.

Regularly clean up the waste generated after use to ensure cleanliness.

If there are multiple cats, the cycle of changing litter can be shortened proportionally, instead of putting too much litter in the litter box. It is recommended to use a bag of 3.6L litter: one cat, one month, two cats, about 15 days, three cats, about 10 days.

The saturated cat litter should be promptly removed from the box with a spoon.

Place the litter box or litter in a clean, moisture free place to extend its lifespan.

Pets such as hamsters or rabbits can use cat litter as wood shavings in the summer as it can cause hamster fever and skin diseases.
